Things to Do

Wildlife Viewing Opportunities Wildlife Viewing Opportunities

Denny Island is home to the elusive Spirit Bear and rainforest wolves, although we can't guarantee a sighting. The occasional lazy black bear may wander by in the distance, searching for dinner from the ocean. Our site is a bird watcher's paradise. There are several eagles nests in the trees on the property that make for fascinating viewing from the cottage deck. A beautiful resident crane lives in front of the lodge. Sandpipers, kingfishers, swifts and several varieties of geese and ducks will keep you entertained.

Salmon will often jump right in front of your cottage. Search by boat for bears, seals, sea lions and dolphins. Humpback whales frequent the area. A camera is a must!
